Mama’s Holiday Wish List Meme

TodaysMama and Provo Craft are giving away a sleighful of gifts this holiday season and to enter I’m sharing this meme with you.

1. What 5 items are on your holiday wish list this year? iTunes gift card, Best Buy gift card, Disney Annual Pass, iPhone or Nook and the Glee Soundtrack.

2. What is your favorite handmade gift you have received? When we got home from Vietnam, my friend E’s daughter, Allison, had made this huge “Welcome Home Sadie” poster with pictures of Sadie and I that she pulled from my blog. She decorated it with glitter and it is still proudly displayed in my dining room.

3. What handmade gift have you always wanted to tackle? I’ve always wanted to try to make jam. What keeps me from trying? It sounds very messy!

4. What was the best Christmas gift you received as a child? I have a horrible memory and honestly cannot think of one Christmas gift I received as a child. Wow…I must be getting old!

5. What items are on your kid’s wish list this year? She doesn’t understand the concept yet so she’s not asking for anything in particular. If she could though, she would surely ask for new books, new nightgowns, new shoes, a Wii game she can actually play and chocolate.

6. What is your favorite holiday food? Pumpkin Pie. I only eat it between Thanksgiving and Xmas.

7. What will you be hand-crafting for the holidays? If I can find the time, I’ll make cookies for some friends at work again. Probably Pizzelles and Madeleines.

8. What is your favorite holiday movie? Miracle on 34th Street

9. Favorite holiday song? Little Drummer Boy by Jars of Clay or Do They Know Its Christmas? by Band Aid.

10. Favorite holiday pastime? Wrapping presents. I know it is strange, but I LOVE it!
